Staff of the Week - Mr. Javier Acevez!
This week, WSB would like to nominate Mr. Javier Acevez as staff of the week. Mr. Acevez is one of our special education teachers here at Great Oak, but he also does so much more. He is a positive figure in the lives of his students and Great Oak as a whole. Mr. Acevez is a great part of our staff at Great Oak!

Class of 2025 April Student of the Month - Diego Bugarin-Varela
Congratulations to Diego Bugarin-Varela, Great Oak High School April Student of the Month.
Ava was selected by Great Oak High School for representing areas of S.P.I.R.I.T.
What is the mission of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month Program?
MISSION To bring the community together to honor and praise our local high school seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school activities, athletics, and community service. Or the ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their education. The “heartbeat” of Student of the Month is the student who makes a difference in their home, school and community with sincerity and passion. They must be college or trade-school-bound.

Wear your red wristband to school every day! WSB and PBIS will be surprising students and/or classes with promotional treats.

Club Approvals
No new clubs will be approved for the 2024-2025 school year as of January 27th.
We encourage all of you to connect with over 120 clubs on our campus!
11. Additional News and Activities For GO Students
Online Drivers Ed Fundraiser!
GOHS students who are starting to get driving will need to take an online drivers ed course!
When selecting the best course use Your Drivers Ed Online!
Course is $24.99. 50% of the cost will go back to GOHS Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society.
