Support the Frisco Rail District and give back to your school. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Receipt Race and help local businesses during construction in the downtown Frisco Area.

How it Works:

• Shop, dine, do business with/buy from any Frisco Rail District business (see the Old Town Commercial map at the link below) between Now and December 31, 2024.
• Save your receipts! Dollar amounts do not matter.
• Turn receipts in Cobb PTA (there will be a drop box in the front office) no later than January 15, 2025. (Digital receipts cannot be accepted and must be printed before being turned in.)
• The PTA with the most receipts can win up to $5,000!

The Cobb Holiday Cookie Exchange is an annual event that lets our teachers take home a variety of holiday treats without spending time in the kitchen. It’s a wonderful way to show our appreciation for everything they do for our children. We need your help! We’re asking each volunteer to contribute 2 dozen cookies (or brownies, cake balls, etc.) and have them delivered to the Cobb office by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, December 17th. Your treats can be homemade or store-bought.

Each house cabin (smaller groups within each house) has a student delegate that was nominated and voted on by their peers. These delegates serve on one of four committees that help run our school!

The four student committees are: Principal’s Advisory Committee, Hype Crew, Student Ambassadors, and Cyclone Pride. For the next four weeks, we will highlight one committee and tell you about the work they are currently doing.

This week we celebrate our Ambassadors!

• Absences over four and not doctor's visits are UNEXCUSED and accrue towards truancy counts and can result in court appearances.
