Happenings at the Hive
May 23, 2025
Dear Solon Stinger Families,
As we wrap up the 2024–2025 school year here at Solon Robinson Elementary School, our hearts are full of gratitude and pride. What a truly special year it has been for our Solon Stingers!
From the buzz of new construction to the joyful hum of learning in every classroom, we’ve seen tremendous growth—both in our building and in our students. We are nearing the final stages of our construction project, and we can’t wait for our families to see the incredible improvements to our school environment at our annual back-to-school Open House on August 12th (save the date!).
Academically, our students have soared, making meaningful educational gains and showing resilience, curiosity, and a love for learning. Together with our amazing PTO, we’ve introduced new and exciting activities that brought our families and school community even closer together. Whether it was a fun-filled mentor/family night or a classroom celebration, every event reminded us of the power of connection and community.
Most importantly, this year has been filled with moments that matter—students forming strong bonds with their teachers and staff, creating cherished memories, and building friendships that will last a lifetime.
To our families: thank you for your trust, your involvement, and your unwavering support.
To our dedicated teachers and staff: thank you for your passion, your care, and your daily commitment to every child.
To our students: thank you for being the heart of Solon Robinson—you make our school a joyful place to learn and grow!
While we still have six school days left to share and celebrate our successes of the year, we want to wish you all a restful, safe, and joyful summer. We can’t wait to welcome you back in August for another exciting chapter. Happy Summer, Stingers!
With love and gratitude,
The Solon Robinson Elementary Team
