Class of 2025 Graduation Information
National Honors Society
Applications for Timberline's chapter of the National Honor Society are now open! Juniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply. Ms. Robinson sent an email with more details to all qualifying students. Applications can be picked up in room 303 and the submission deadline is Friday, February 21st. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized academic and leadership program! Email monica.robinson@boiseschools.org with any questions.
Access Testing
Timberline High School’s English learners will be taking the ACCESS (English Language Assessment) February 18-21, which is given yearly to monitor students’ progress in acquiring English language proficiency in academic contexts.
Understanding Special Education Workshop
Please join us for our workshop that guides parents through the Special Education Process. This event will take place at Whittier Elementary on March 11th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We will share valuable information for parents who are starting the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process or for those who have gone through it and want to review all the different components. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for parents to ask questions about special education to our district leadership. Dinner and childcare will be provided! Community Resiliency Model Workshop
Summer School
Summer School information is now available in the counseling office. If you are interested in taking summer school classes please come pick up information. Please note, enrollment doesn't open until March 1st, 2025.
Author, Angeline Boulley, Visit at Captial High School
In partnership with the Idaho Humanities Council, all Boise School District juniors will attend an author event with Angeline Boulley at Capital High School on Thursday, February 27th. This is an incredible opportunity to hear a message of hope and overcoming adversity from a current, relevant American author. Timberline juniors will leave at 9:30 and return around 11:45. If you don't want your student attending this event, please email timberlineattendance@boiseschools.org so they can be removed from the attendance list.
Youth Leadership Program
The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights is taking applications for their Youth Leadership Program. Teens from around the Treasure Valley meet regularly to develop their understanding of human rights issues, listen to guest speakers, and create and collaborate on youth initiatives. For more information at Timberline, students can ask current youth leaders: Naira Aktar, Juniper Davich, Bhavesh Kommireddy, and Bryan Li. Applications are due March 22nd and students may apply through this link.

Get ready to sing your heart out every Friday in Room 237! Whether you're a shower-singer or a karaoke pro, it's your chance to belt out your favorite tunes and have a blast. See you this Friday—bring your voice and your friends!
CloseUp Washington DC Trip Opportunity
Attention Timberline High School Students!
Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? This November, Timberline High School is heading to Washington, D.C. for a once-in-a-lifetime CloseUp trip!
Explore the nation’s capital, meet with Representatives and Senators, visit iconic landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian, and engage in hands-on workshops with students from across the country. This is your chance to experience government and history up close and personal!
Who can go? All Timberline High School students and their parents interested in learning more about our nation’s capital and government.
When? November 16th-21st 2025.
How much does it cost? Total costs are around $2,300 for all expenses including airfare, hotel, meals, transportation 24 hour security, educational materials, and experiences like attending an NBA game! And you can get hundreds of dollars of discounts for signing up early!

THS Wrestling
Timberline Wrestling won the Grapple for the Granite for the third year in a row.
The grapple is a dual Tournament between the four Boise School district high schools.
Timberline beat Boise 68-7 and Capital 55-25 to win the championship.

THS Girls Rugby
Timberline Girls Rugby is excited to announce that pre-season began on January 21st, and the official spring season kicks off on February 18th. To help everyone prepare, we will be holding lunch meetings every other Monday, starting on January 20th. DECA
Timberline was able to take 19 students to compete at DECA State (SCDC) on 2/11 and 2/12.
Out of 19 students, 14 qualified for Nationals (ICDC). The chapter also earned Chapter of the Year, Distinguished Chapter, they earned an national award for completing two Chapter Campaigns, and a state award for "Chapter Gold 3X3". Atharva Tripathi was elected as a DECA State Officer VP of Career Development. Please congratulate these students, pictured below, when you see them!
Classroom Spotlight
Students across Timberline collect and analyze data, whether it's in math, science, or humanities classes. They are encouraged to use evidence to defend their reasoning, which builds their critical thinking skills!

Parking Information
Student Parking
If your student is parking on campus, a parking permit is required. Please purchase a parking permit at the ASB office or use this QR code to purchase a parking permit. You may pick up your permit with receipt of payment at school from Shenna Baughman during break or after school.
Track Parking Lot
The construction on our new turf field and track is nearly completed. As a result of this construction, either part or all of our track parking lot may not be accessible for student parking. As of now, the construction has not had an affect on the track parking lot. We are anticipating that construction may continue through June 2025. Updates on construction time lines will be given when available.
Food Services
All students attending Boise School District schools will receive free breakfast. One breakfast per student will be available daily.
- Elementary Students: Breakfast available before school.
- Secondary Students: Breakfast available before school or during mid-morning break.
Lunch is available at all schools. The cost depends on your student's qualification for free or reduced lunch as defined by the US Department of Agriculture.

Bus Stop Information
School bus stop information is available in the Infinite Campus Parent or Student Portal.
Download the Bus Zone App!
Our bus contractor, Durham School Services, offers the Bus Zone Mobile App. This app will allow you to log in and securely track your child’s bus location during the scheduled route. You can set up alert zones and enable notifications for when the bus arrives or departs the school. Check out the Bus Zone Parent User Guide for helpful information. You will need your student’s bus number(s) and student ID number for the Bus Zone App, all of which you can find in Infinite Campus. Please take a moment to download and familiarize yourself with the Bus Zone App, available in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The access code for Boise School District is: 2048ISDBC
