This month we had a special presentation from the Plymouth State University award-winning Tiger performers. This presentation for our entire school focused on singing, dancing, and delivering a message of Kindness counts, and empathy. Our students loved the show!

Last week we had over 80% attendance at parent-teacher conferences. Teachers appreciated having the day to focus on these important opportunities to build parent partnerships.

Last week our librarian Ms.Quill organized an overwhelming successful book fair which we have not had in years. She has taken the initiative to organize two book fairs this year, and we yielded 7,000K in sales! We will receive 50% of the profits to benefit purchasing books, and supplementing our library needs. Congratulations and thank you to parent volunteers and families for supporting our school. There is no better investment than in books in my opinion.

Last week we had a beautiful assembly to honor our veterans. Students sang patriotic songs taught from our Ms.Pelkey and Mr.Harris. We had veteran speakers, Mr. and Mrs.Pelkey, Mr.Gaffney, Mr.Barone and Mr.Buttrock. Our third grade students in Mrs.Boisvert’s class learned how to do the pledge in sign language. This was a wonderful assembly for our school that has grown every year.
