Hey Crusader Nation!
Delsea High School - May 2025
We are officially in the homestretch of the school year! Our students have already made incredible memories — from the Senior Trip to an unforgettable Prom — and our Spring sports teams are thriving as they head into playoffs.
For our Seniors, some of the most exciting milestones are just ahead: Senior Sunday, the Grad Walk, and of course, Graduation. It’s an exciting time to be a Crusader, and we’re so proud of how our students continue to shine — both in the classroom and through their extracurricular accomplishments.
As we push through these final weeks, please be mindful of your student's attendance. There is one final credit completion opportunity for those approaching the limit of 12 unexcused absences. And as always, it’s important to stay on top of their grades. If you have concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to their guidance counselor. Everything is available through OnCourse, but we are always here to support you.
Let’s finish strong, together!
Achievement Night
Dress Code Reminder
As the weather continues to warm up, we want to remind everyone to help ensure students are following the Delsea Regional High School dress code. Specifically, we ask that students avoid wearing clothing that exposes the midriff (no bellies), overly cut sleeveless tanks, and shorts that do not provide proper coverage. As always, no pajamas are allowed and hats are only allowed on Friday. We appreciate your support in ensuring your student leaves the house dressed properly.
No Parking Spots
Getting a driver's license is an exciting milestone, and we love seeing our students gain this new level of independence! However, parking on campus is limited. Spaces are first offered to seniors, then juniors, and then made available as the year progresses if space allows. Unfortunately, we do not have any more spots available. We appreciate your understanding.
Late Buses
The late buses are provided for students who are staying after school for supervised activities such as practices, clubs, weightlifting, or even to support classmates at games. Recently, we've noticed some students leaving campus to go to Carollo’s and then returning to take the late bus. Please understand that this is not the intended use of the late bus service. Additionally, walking off campus—especially through private property—can create concerns for both student safety and our relationship with the community. We appreciate your support in helping us ensure the late bus is used appropriately and safely.
HOPE Squad Car Wash
Delsea's HOPE Squad, comprised of students and staff, promotes positive mental health through peer-based programs. Join them for a car wash on May 10th from 10 am to 2 pm.
Unified Track Meet
Unified Sports is an inclusive sports program that brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team promoting social inclusion through shared training and competition. The program aims to foster understanding and friendship between participants with and without disabilities by engaging them in shared sports experience.
Delsea's Unified Track and Field team will be hosting the 8th Annual Unified Track and Field Invitational on Wednesday, May 14th @ 10:00 at John Oberg Stadium. 300+ athletes and partners from 20 schools throughout the state of NJ will compete in Shot Up, Long Jump, 100M, 200M, 400M and 4x100M Relay. June Credit Completion Information
This is the last 4 day opportunity for students to make up unexcused absences! As we stated all year, if a student exceeds 18 unexcused absences, even if they pass every class, they will be retained in their current grade level. If the student falls between 12-18 unexcused days, summer school will be mandatory. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s counselor or an administrator.
DECA Takes on Orlando
The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) marks the end of the DECA year, bringing together over 20,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals, and alumni for a few days of DECA thrills. Students showcase their preparedness for college and careers through participation in DECA's Competitive Events Program, which is recognized by various industries and covers subjects like marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and entrepreneurship.

Nutrition Services
All families are encouraged to complete the free and reduced meal application. This form ensures all students have access to nutritious meals, while also securing the necessary funding to support every student in the district. Parent Portal Is Open
The OnCourse Parent Portal for the 2024 - 2025 annual student registration is now OPEN! Each year, parents/guardian of existing and newly enrolled Delsea High School students must update several annual registration requirements using the OnCourse Connect Parent Portal at https://www.oncourseconnect.com/login. Please note that parents and students will not be able to access their grade portal until they fill out the annual registration.
Students and Chromebooks
This year we are going to encourage students to check and use their Delsea email more regularly. WHY? Because every student has a Chromebook and teachers use Google Workspace tools for classroom efficiency! It’s an easy way for them to communicate with their teachers. It’s a great way for students to stay up to date with important announcements from teachers and the school. This can include information for clubs, sports, cancellations, reminder of events, and so much more.
Lockers
Lockers will be assigned upon request. Once your student has completed the Google Form, they will get their locker information emailed to them.
