Bristol Township Employment Opportunity
2024 Seasonal Spray Park Attendant
(multiple openings available)
Bristol Township Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for seasonal employment for a Spray Park Attendant from May to September 2024. Applications can be downloaded by clicking here. This seasonal position is responsible for maintaining water features, cleaning filters, monitoring and adjusting water chemistry and various tasks involving the upkeep of the water park and pump house. Applicants should have knowledge of day-to-day operations maintaining a pool along with prior pool and chemical experience.
Attendants needed for evening shifts on weekdays from 4pm to 8pm and weekend shifts from 9am to 8pm for full hours opening of spray park.
The rate of pay is $17.00 per hour.

Children First - Virtual Advocacy Event

Bucks County Grand Families Support Group
This group is a great resource for families responsible for raising children of loved ones. Dinner and childcare is provided, but you must register in order for them to plan for your attendance.
Caregiver Workshop Series
The Lenape Valley Foundation is offering a Free Caregiver Workshop Series.
These sessions will provide Practical Behavioral Health Strategies Children and Families.
There will be three separate sessions that focus on a particular age group (3-5 years old, 6-12 years old and AGES 13+ years old).
The sessions are free and being held a Lenape Valley Foundation in Doylestown.

The YMCA After School Program for 6th graders runs Monday through Thursday.

A NOTE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 7TH GRADE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025
Students entering 7th grade next school year (2024-2025 school year) are required to have both Tdap and MCV4 vaccines completed by September 9, 2024 in order to avoid being excluded from school.
If your student has not already received these vaccines, please make arrangements with your healthcare provider to have these vaccines completed.
If you do not have health insurance, please contact the Bucks County Department of Health at 267-580-3510 to schedule an appointment to have these vaccines completed, at no cost to you.

Referral Forms
If you receive a referral form after any school screening or examination, it means that further evaluation by a professional health care provider is recommended. The referral form is to be completed by your private health care provider/eye specialist and returned to the school nurse as soon as possible.
Medical Assistance/Health insurance for low-income families and children with disabilities
Medical Assistance (Medicaid) is a public health insurance program that covers children with disabilities as well as families who experience low-income.
Applying for Medical Assistance can be an intimidating task. To help ease this burden, the Buck County Intermediate Unit would like to assist parents/guardians in completing and submitting your child’s application for Medical Assistance.

Buy Local & Save Money
Help support the Armstrong News Network and the athletic programs at our school and save money at the same time! Students must bring payment for their card(s) to Ms. Feeley in B-3 once the following order form has been completed.
No money or checks should be given to ANY other staff member or left in a mailbox.
Cell Phone Policy 📵
Cell phones are NOT permitted at Armstrong. Cell phones will be confiscated if they are seen. If you would like to contact your child during the day, please call the school.
Confiscated cell phones will only be returned to a parent/guardian and between the hours of:
7:45am to 9:00am
2:00pm to 3:30 pm.
No exceptions will be made.
Attendance 📝
Please direct all attendance notes to Ms. Capriotti. The notes can be sent in with your child or emailed to Ms. Capriotti at kelly.capriotti@bristoltwpsd.org.
A parent/guardian may excuse the first 10 absences each school year. Any student absence after 10 days must be accompanied with a medical note. Anything else is considered unexcused.
