Summer Verification of Enrollment (VOE) Forms
Getting a learner driving permit or driver license this summer?
Please pick up a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) with your attendance clerk. VOEs are required for student permits and licenses. The VOE is only valid all summer if picked up the last week of school.
During summer, forms will be available in front office.
Summer Office Hours: M-Th : 8-5:00 PM, Closed 5/27, 6/19 & 7/4

We Need Your Library and Textbooks Back!
Textbooks will be collected May 16th- 21st.
If you have checked out a textbook, be prepared to turn it in to your classroom teacher (for that subject) on or before Tuesday, May 21st.
If you need to keep your textbook, to study for an exam, turn your book into Suite A no later than Thursday, May 23rd. Fees will be assessed for any lost or damaged books.
All Library Books are Due by May 10!!. Email and paper notices were sent to students with books checked out. If a book is LOST, please see Mrs. Storrie in the Library to arrange for payment (we never charge for late books, just lost or damaged ones).
Last Day of School/Early Release Thursday May 23
Have a safe summer and we will see our returning students back August 13 for the start of the 24-25' school year!
LOST & FOUND
Check the FMHS Lost & Found shelves by library/cafeteria and front office for electronics - there’s lots of sweatshirts, lunch boxes, water bottles, and several other items that need to be claimed before we leave for the summer. All items left behind will be donated to a local charity.

Clean up you Google storage. Export data to iCloud or transfer data to another google account. Your LISD account services will be shut down for good on 8/1/2023. Anything in your LISD google storage will be inaccessible forever.
Seniors: Ipad Collections
Collection on Wednesday, May 22nd ALL DAY in the FMHS Library.
You can also turn IPADS into Suite A at any time before May 22nd.
BE PREPARED… Clean off items you want to save. Bring all Apple- certified accessories with you. Be prepared to pay for the any missing accessories when you turn in the IPAD with (Check, Cash (exact change), or Credit/Debit Card).

BACK TO SCHOOL FAIR REGISTRATION
Lewisville ISD’s Back-to-School Fair is an annual event that provides more than 6,000 students with free backpacks, supplies and resources to start the school year.
This year's fair is set for Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024 at Lewisville High.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP FOR INCOMING 11TH GRADERS
The LISD Board of Trustees invites current LISD 10th grade students who are interested in developing their leadership during their junior/senior year to apply for participation in the Student Leadership Experience.
The 2024-25 cohort will consist of 25 students with 5 representatives per high school in the district. Applicants should be in good standing based upon grades, attendance, and behavior; have an interest in developing leadership skills; serving the community; and be willing to accept the attendance and participation expectations.
This program is a two-year commitment through a series of seven monthly seminars each year. Interested applicants and their parents should review their schedules and commit to the two-year schedule prior to submitting an application. Participants are required to attend each 2024-25 seminar in its entirety. Full-day seminars are tentatively scheduled for the following Wednesdays during the school day.

Performing Arts
Last Thursday night, Casa Manana hosted its 24th annual Betty Buckley Awards for high school theatre performances. Flower Mound took 3 of the 5 awards they were nominated for.
Awards won:
- Best Student Orchestra
- Best Stage Managers: Mackenzie Hall, Kinnie Bell, Annabelle Whitten
- Outstanding Lead Performance: Kate Chenault as Agatha Trunchbull
Pinning Ceremony for FMHS TAFE
FMHS Texas Association of Future Educators was honored and rewarded for their hard work, dedication, and the effort put forth to accomplish the goal of becoming a ‘completer’ in the Education and Training Career Pathways. These young ladies were part of a pinning ceremony due to completing three or more education and training course that equaled four credits.
The students recognized today are (from left to right in the attached picture): Anna Schafer, Dena Yates, Brooke Dasher, Katie Tuttle, Taina Koga, Jessica Kluthe, Lilly Glaser, and Lauren North. Unable to attend was Ava Steinbach.
Also, receiving the Education Aide I Certification were Brooke Dasher, Taina Koga, and Anna Schafer!

Parents no longer need to fill out the pre-planned absence form for trips. Please see below for information about absences.

ID Badge Information
Parents/Students:
- Students will NOT be allowed in the building without a current ID around their neck.
- $5.00 will be assessed in Skyward every time a student has to purchase a new ID from the front office.
- Parents can access/pay fees by clicking on "Fee Management" in Skyward Family Access, full website version - not the app. Payments will only be accepted online.
- Fees can also be found in your LISD RevTrak Account select 1:X & Skyward Fee Payments
- Please contact your child's Assistant Principal if you need to pay by cash or check.

This is a reminder of our lots that are designated for student drop off. You can find those lots by accessing the attachment. The designated drop off lanes are marked in yellow. DO NOT use the lanes marked in red. We appreciate your assistance in helping us make our drop-off and pick up times safe and efficient for all.
