Tuesday, May 7th is an Early Release Day for all students in Avon Lake City Schools. Our school day will begin at the regular time of 8:50 and students will be dismissed from the elementary buildings at noon. Dismissal will follow the regular process at 12:00.
Students will eat lunch in their classrooms. Lunch will be from 11:15-11:45. Students may pack or have a school lunch. If your child will be eating a school lunch, the menu items are below.

Students that attend the Champions program after school will not go there as Champions is not having students attend on the Early Release Day on May 7th.
Thank you to student, parents, and the community of Avon Lake for participating in Marco's Pizza Nights this year. Overall, Westview ended in 10th place, earning a $500 check from Marco's to be used for our students. A few uses of the funds received this year have been purchasing books for the Book Vending Machine, PBIS prizes for students, and some materials for end of project events for classrooms. Again, thank you for the support!
As the warmer weather is approaching, so is allergy season. If your child has seasonal allergies, we strongly suggest making sure they receive their allergy medication and/or eye drops prior to coming to school. Due to the warmer temperatures, many classroom windows will remain open. While this helps regulate the temperature, it also allows for the allergens to enter the classroom. Any help from home would be greatly appreciated!
