Astronomy News
Monday November 18, the three Astronomy classes were treated to a
visit from NASA Ambassador Larry Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf came out to
DFHS and gave a brief set up presentation on Solar Observations etc.
The classes then went outside to safely view the Sun with Mr. Metcalf’s
Solar telescopes. It was a fantastic experience for the students who
were able to see the Sun in a way they never had before, including
Sunspots. Students were even able to hold a large meteorite.
Keep Looking Up!
Interims
Interims were passed out on Tuesday, November 19, during 6B. Midterms are December 17-20.

Also, it is recommended that you check your attendance count in PowerSchool and confirm that all medical notes have been turned in.
