The Impact Aid survey is now open and available for completion in ParentVUE. All parents should complete this survey as soon as possible. Please visit the PWCS Federal Impact Aid website for more information on the importance of Federal Aid. The survey will close on December 1st.

To complete the survey:

1) Log into PARENTVUE

2) Click on ONLINE RECORDS (on top right menu bar)

3) Scroll to the "IMPACT AID" button....click it and follow the directions on the survey.

**This is an important survey especially if your work in/on a federal or military building/installation.

Porter's NJHS is having a WINTER HOLIDAY DRIVE for their service project. They are collecting items to donate to a local charity, from November 12 - December 12. Items such as: new/gently used clothes (winter clothes), non-perishable food, new/gently used toys, toiletries, etc.

The books are on their way! We dropped off 25 boxes, filled with 1000 books, at the Woodbridge post office this past week. THANK YOU to all of the students, staff, and families who helped make this Student Ambassadors service project a success!

The LOST & FOUND is piling up! Please be sure to have your student look at our 'Lost & Found' rack in the cafeteria. And please...LABEL YOUR STUDENTS' ITEMS...lunch boxes, eyeglass cases, coats, sweaters, hats, etc.... If we had names on the items, we could return them to the students. 😊

Our "LOST & FOUND RACK" will be in the hallway next Wednesday night during the MultiCultural night, 6:30-8:00pm. Be sure to stop by and take a look! 👀 Items not claimed, by our Thanksgiving Break (November 26th,) will be donated to a local charity.

As a FRIENDLY REMINDER, ALL visitors MUST PRESENT A PICTURE ID when entering the building. For security reasons, individuals planning to volunteer, meet with a teacher, attend a meeting, check out a student, etc...are required to sign in at the front office and give a picture ID, for scanning.

✅ FRONT DESK GREETER 2.0....Many of you will remember (pre-covid) we had parents sitting at the front hallway, opening the door for visitors. It was a great way to earn volunteer hours. NOW, we have a new opportunity...Sitting in the front vestibule/foyer area to direct visitors to the front office, once they walk through the EVOLV screener. The monthly sign-ups can be found on the Porter website under the VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES page.

✅ Front Office VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES...we've created a VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP for any miscellaneous volunteer work we have for the front office. We will keep it updated as opportunities come up...so, be sure to look at it periodically.

✅ The CAFETERIA is always available for volunteers, any day between 11am - 1:45pm. Just come into the front office, sign in, and get your 'volunteer' sticker. We do ask that you work at least 1 hour.
