Junior Achievement
We will be implementing Junior Achievement in grades 1-6th on April 24th in the morning. Junior Achievement is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Junior Achievement partners up with organizations to send classroom volunteers from all walks of life, including: business people, college students, parents and retirees. This year, we will be partnered up with Zurich. The classroom teacher will co-facilitate these lessons.
Junior Achievement’s programs are tailored for each grade, in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy that ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century. Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
Helping Hands
We are in need of food items and will be collecting through April 16th. Please consider helping to support the POC and local food pantries. Donations of unexpired, non-perishable food can be sent in a bag with your child. You may drop off items if you prefer in the front vestibule of our school. Thank you for supporting our community.
Kimball Hill School will also be starting a pop-tab collection drive to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Each classroom will have a bag to collect pop-tabs. Once the bag is full they can add the class collection to the large bin in the library. Every pop-tab counts. Let's fill the bin!!

Registration for 2024-25
Online student registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. The year ahead brings many new and exciting initiatives to District 15! One such something new is that this is the first year we will offer FULL-DAY KINDERGARTEN for every student. Additionally, many of our schools are undergoing construction which will be completed for the upcoming school year, AND our 6th graders will join their adolescent peers in our newly restructured middle schools.
The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Thursday, September 5 for grades 1-8 and Friday, September 6 for kindergarten and early childhood students.
Please visit our registration page to begin registering your child(ren) for school. Doing so helps us solidify staffing for our schools, allows your child(ren) to be placed on a class list, and allows your child(ren) to ride a bus to and from school. Registration MUST be completed and student fees must be paid by July 1, 2024. With close to 12,000 students to place in a classroom and on bus routes, we ask that you please do your part and register on or before July 1.
