Congratulations to the DJ Baseball Team!!

7th grade placed 2nd in the Mansfield Youth Baseball Association's Middle School Madness Tournament last weekend. Great job guys!

Last weekend students from the Danny Jones Choir participated in Solo & Ensemble Contest at Lake Ridge High School. We are proud to announce that 25 soloists and 2 ensembles received 1st Division "Superior" ratings for their vocal performances! They will each receive a medal. They did a great job and represented Danny Jones extremely well.

In addition, we had two soloists and one ensemble that were named outstanding performers of the day. Great job DJMS choir students!

Hello from the Danny Jones Nurse Clinic!

We are here for the health and well-being of our students and staff. From health screenings and safety trainings, to chronic issues, to allergies and illness, we see a little bit of everything. Our goal is to keep our kids and staff healthy and ready to learn. We firmly believe "Students must be healthy to be educated and educated to be healthy!"

One of the best ways for us to meet our goal is parent communication. If your child has a medical need, please let us know. We'd love to help in any way we can. Even simple things, like keeping pain medicine in the clinic for headaches or cramps, can have a big impact on your child's learning. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your student's health. We look forward to serving your students.

Calling all Super Spellers! Our annual Campus Spelling Bee will be held December 3rd. If you are interested in competing, please stop by the library to sign up and get a study list. The winner will go on to compete at the District Bee on February 4th. Email or see Mrs. Silerio with questions.

Mansfield ISD is hosting a Power of Choice Expo on Saturday December 4th at Ben Barber Innovation Academy/Frontier STEM Academy from 9:30 am - noon. At this expo families will be able to get information about the various choice programs offered at all grade levels; these programs include Dual Language campuses , Fine Arts academies, STEM academies, and Early College High School. Please join us to learn more about the exciting opportunities available for your learner through the Power of Choice.”
