Summer 2024

We look forward to welcoming new and returning students to the 2024-2025 school year in August. Please mark your calendars with the important back-to-school dates listed below. Additionally, please keep an eye on your email during the second week of August for more welcome back information.

8/20, 4:15-5:45pm: Back to School Open House + PTA Treats on the Playground (4:30-6:30)

8/21: First Day of School for Grades 1-5

8/21-8/23: Kindergarten Screening Appointments. Appointment times mailed in August

8/26: First full day of School for Kindergarten

District Message - Clever and Infinite Campus

Clever allows District staff to connect students with applications that they will be using during the school year. Students will be connected to their 2023-2024 classroom until June 30, 2024. On July 1, 2024 the process of connecting students to their 2024-2025 classrooms, teachers, and applications begins. Because of this, if a student logs in during the months of July or August, they may see themselves connected to a particular teacher, course or application. Please know that a student’s teacher/course may change during July or August and that nothing is finalized until August 16, 2024 at 4:00 pm.

Parents/guardians wishing to see their students' schedule for the school year are encouraged to download and sign up for the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The Infinite Campus Parent Portal will provide parents with the most accurate representation of their student’s schedule. Information on the Parent Portal can be found HERE. Please know that additional information on how to sign up for the Parent/Student portal will be distributed once we go live with Infinite Campus in early July. If you have any questions in regards to Infinite Campus, please contact ICHelp@lakewoodcityschools.org.

Class Lists

Please trust that we have your student's best interests in mind and consider many layers as we build our class lists for next year, and that our experienced staff is dedicated to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education, regardless of the teacher they are assigned. We are confident that all of our teachers are highly qualified, compassionate, and committed to fostering a love for learning in each and every one of their students. We have a few extra yearbooks available for sale through the office. If you did not order a 2023-24 yearbook and would like one, please call the office at 216.529.4232.
