ESU3 Blended Learning Fair
ESU 3 hosted a Blended Learning Fair on March 11. It was a great day of learning that included a keynote by Catlin Tucker (@Catlin_Tucker), an English Teacher, that has been implementing blended learning into her own classroom for years and has written two books on the topic. Sessions included Maker Spaces, Tools for the Blended Classroom, Personalized Learning, and Flexible Learning Spaces. The day was capped off by a presentation from our own Ann Feldmann who provided an engaging presentation on building a blended learning environment. Appy Time and Website Tools - Newsela & Tween Tribune
Check out these two great websites that provide quality articles on a variety of topics and allow teachers and students to adjust the reading level at which the articles are presented. Teachers can create accounts and assign articles directly to students or students can find articles of interest on their own.

NETA Contest Winners from Bellevue Public Schools
Bellevue Public Schools had one individual winner and one team winner in this year’s NETA Contest. Fourth grader Amy earned 2nd place in the Learning with Tech category. She created a Figurative Language presentation using Thinglink.
Kenzie and Derek won first place in the Learning with Tech - grades 3-5 Category. They created a iMovie trailer on Mystery Hangouts - Making Global Connections.
