A Message From Mrs. Tate
Dear St. Michael Families,
We have had another wonderful week at SMA! We felt so spoiled by our students and families as we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to the many families who donated food, drinks, and gifts. From the videos to the treats, we all feel the love of our community, and it is much appreciated during this busy month. Thank you!
Yesterday, we celebrated our 8th grade class for the last time at a beautiful graduation Mass! Thank you to our 8th grade parent committee who made this year so special for the students and their families. Our teachers did a wonderful job of organizing end of the year activities for them. They are a special group of kids who are going to do great things through Jesus Christ! They will always be in our prayers.
Thank you to Connie Carrell, our kindergarten teachers, and the parent volunteers who hosted a fantastic Kindergarten Mother’s Day Tea. The kids were adorable, and all moms felt all the “feels” as they were serenaded.
As we celebrate all mothers this weekend on Mother’s Day, we are reminded of the Blessed Mother’s profound faith, enduring love, and unwavering devotion. She lived a life of total humility and grace as she accepted God’s will with trust and courage, even in the face of uncertainty. Mary teaches mothers everywhere to embrace challenges with faith, to love unconditionally, and to be a source of strength and comfort for their children. Her example inspires me and all mothers to cherish the sacred role of motherhood and to lead with compassion and humility.
May God bless all the mothers of our St. Michael school community. May this Mother’s Day bring you joy and peace as you are celebrated for the love and dedication you give so selflessly. Today and every day, may you know how cherished and deeply appreciated you are.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her; many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. Proverbs 31: 28-29
Happy Mother’s Day!
Sincerely,
Diana Tate, Principal
