Congratulations to everyone who auditioned!
The judges were very impressed by the talent in our community and entertained by all of your submissions.
We had a total of 28 video submissions and chose the top 15 scoring acts to participate in next week's Talent Show. Scores were given by a 5 panel team of judges. They judged each act on five different criteria: Stage Presence, Preparedness, Pitch/skill level, Appropriateness and Entertainment value.
Remember, you are all amazing! and it is tough to be constrained by time and to have to limit our number of participants.
Please keep working on all your talents and feel proud that you were a part of the audition process.
Congratulations To Everyone who Auditioned. You were ALL Fantastic!

Visit the Elementary School Exhibition April 27 - May 2
DCSD’s annual Art Exhibition highlights the creative endeavors of student artists, kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Art Exhibition features two shows – one for elementary students, and one for middle and high school students. Both will take place at DCSD’s Legacy Campus, 10035 S. Peoria St., Lone Tree. Admission is free and is open to the public.
The elementary show opens on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Awards will be given for each feeder area (Castle Rock, Parker, Highlands Ranch East, and Highlands Ranch West), as well as for Primary grades K-2 and Intermediate grades 3-6. A reception for winners will be held on Tuesday, April 30, from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
DCSD art teachers selected the pieces for the show. Judges who are professionals in their fields will decide on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. Additionally, Best In Show, Honorable Mentions, and Legacy Picks will be awarded. Artwork that is chosen for Legacy Picks will be displayed at the Legacy Campus throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
Show dates and viewing hours vary. For a list of dates and hours for both shows, visit https://k12artshowcommitte.wixsite.com/2024.
