Dear Father Doyle Families,

We're coming up on the final week of school! I hope you'll join me in taking a few moments to reflect upon the many blessings and joys of this past school year. While every school year is not without its trials and tribulations, the Lord continues to abundantly bless Father Doyle School.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for entrusting your child to our care over the past nine months. It is a great privilege to partner in educating so many young minds, and we look forward to the upcoming 2023-2024 school year with both optimism and enthusiasm.

With the end of the year approaching, we have many events coming up in the week ahead. Please be sure to review the End of Year Events Calendar included below. In addition, a few notes:

• Field Day for students in K-8 is this Monday. All students should wear their gym uniforms. Middle school students may wear their assigned team color and/or their gym shirts.
• Our Annual 4-8 Awards Night is Monday evening. In addition to academic and service awards, students participating in athletic programs, Drama Club, Safety Patrol and other clubs will also be recognized. If you're planning to attend, please let us know by completing the RSVP here. This helps us better plan for the presentation of awards.
• A reminder that the last day of school on Thursday, June 15th is an 11:30am dismissal day. In addition, the final day of afterschool care is Wednesday, June 14th

At our State of the School Address, we also announced the publication of our 2023 End of Year Survey.

We encourage all families to provide their feedback in the survey, which only takes a few minutes to complete. You can find the full survey here.

Our Parish is now recruiting for new Altar Servers, and there will be having an Altar Server Training Class, Saturday July 1st from 1 to 3pm in the Church. All boys and girls who are parishioners at Ss. John and Paul, are entering 4th grade or above next school year, and have made their First Communion are eligible to become an Altar Server. If you are interested, please fill out the form below and return it to Mrs. Jarvis or Fr. Woolley.

The PTO is happy to bring back a way for our families to save some money on school gym shirts. We are working with a new company, in order to get the best pricing.

T-shirts are $10, and Sweatshirts are $17. Because this is a bulk order all student orders must be placed by July 1st. (No Exceptions) Gym shirts can be ordered at. https://fjvduniforms.square.site You will be able to have them shipped to the school (free) and we will set up a time to pick them up prior to the first week of school.

Please note that gym shirts can still be ordered from Donnelly’s or through our website at regular price at any time.

A reminder that the final day of afterschool care is Wednesday, June 14th.

  • Please note that Monday, June 12th is a half day for Pre-K (11:30am dismissal)
• 8th Grade Banquet - Tuesday, June 13th
  • 6:00pm at the school, details to follow
• Kindergarten Graduation - Wednesday, June 14th
  • 10am in the Church Hall, students dismissed after graduation
  • Please note, kindergarten students do not attend school for the half day on Thursday, June 15th
• Last Day of School (1-8) - Thursday, June 15th
  • The last day of school will be an 11:30am dismissal for all students
• 8th Grade Graduation - Thursday, June 15th
  • 6:30pm in the Church

A reminder that Father John V. Doyle School is a peanut and tree-nut free school. For the safety of all students, we ask that children not bring snacks and other food items to school that contain peanuts and/or tree nuts. This includes peanut butter, nutella, and granola bars containing peanuts or tree nuts.
