Cold Weather
With the forecast in the upcoming week looking like it will be colder this is just a reminder to be sure your child has snow pants, gloves, hat, boots and warm jacket for recess. We go outside unless the actual temperature is below zero or the wind chill is below negative ten degrees.
If it does get colder than the above guidelines then we have "indoor recess." If you have any complete games that you'd like to donate to the school for indoor recess you are welcome to label them clearly as donations and we will add them to our indoor activities. Thanks!
Kindness Poster Contest Video
Taleen (Tuli) Almosawi is the fourth grade district winner and she is featured in the video highlighting the contest. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orONakyVSUI
Grade Level T-Shirt Donations: If you have a gently used Jefferson grade level t-shirt that your child doesn't wear anymore, the PTO is collecting these and they will be donated to students in the future. Your child can bring it to their classroom teacher and they will be collected in a box just outside our Volunteer Coordinator's Office.
