Once again, teachers and staff, as we move forward and set new year’s resolutions for 2023, let us use our current scores as measuring sticks. The goal should always be to improve, no matter what. Whether it be personal resolutions, department goals, or campus goals...let's strive for excellence.

In case you didn't know... "research still shows the number one thing affecting student achievement is the teacher" (Melanie Mayer). Folks, you have that power and even though it might seem like a daunting task, the investment that you make will impact generations. Please digest that for a minute or two. What you do in your classrooms will not only change a life but generations to follow. I wish the world would see what I see on a daily basis at Rio Hondo HS P-Tech and the amazing things that are happening in our classrooms. I can't wait to start this new year and start visiting classrooms. There is no doubt that 2023 will be a banner year.
