Welcome to the 2025 Spring GMA Quest Clubs Program!
It is my pleasure to introduce this year’s exciting lineup of Quest Clubs, offering a variety of enrichment opportunities that nurture the mind, body, and spirit of our students. These clubs are made possible by the incredible passion and talents of our dedicated faculty, staff, and close friends of GMA, who are eager to share their expertise with our children.
Below, you’ll find the Spring 2025 Quest Club offerings. Registration is due by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 4. Please note that students may only participate once registration is complete and full payment has been submitted. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to sign up!
Program Details:
- Clubs meet on the dates listed in their descriptions.
- Sessions run from 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM.
- Pickup will take place on the green top. Students who are pre-registered for CARES may be dismissed there.
- Late pickups: Parents arriving late will need to pick up their child from CARES and will be responsible for the CARES registration fee. Please respect our instructors' time by arriving promptly.

MONDAYS
Wonderful World of Oz: PreK-Grade 3
Follow the yellow brick road to a magical adventure in our Wonderful Wizard of Oz Club! Students in Pre-K through 3rd grade will explore the many versions of The Wizard of Oz—from the beloved books to the classic movie and stage adaptations. Each week, we’ll dive into the enchanting world of Oz through storytelling, music, and hands-on activities. Join us for an exciting journey filled with music, imagination, and the wonder of Oz!

Springtime Creations: Exploring Art and Nature With Mermaid Art Studio: Grades K-8
Join us for an exciting 6-week after-school art class designed to awaken creativity and explore the wonders of spring! Each week, children will embark on a new artistic journey, learning various techniques and mediums inspired by the season.

Acting 101: Grades 4-7
Calling all performers! Here is a chance to learn and practice basic acting skills. We will practice and perform different scenes, learn stage directions blocking, and learn some movement and improv skills. This is a great prep course for future GMA shows!

TUESDAYS
Stories and Scribbles: PreK-Grade 1
Stories and Scribbles is a creative and engaging club for students in pre-K through 1st grade. Each week will feature a fun story followed by an art project inspired by the story. It is the perfect mix of imagination, creativity and fun!

Wiffle Ball: Grades Kindergarten-Grade 4
Come out and enjoy some Wiffleball! We'll play games and work on the basics of baseball in a fun entertaining environment!

Ping Pong Club: Grades 5-8
Are you ready to serve up some fun and friendly competition? Join the GMA Ping Pong Club, a club that is the perfect place for beginners who want to learn Ping Pong as well as experienced players who are looking for a challenge! In this club we will not only learn and review the basics of Ping Pong, but also host matches, mini-tournaments, and challenges for both singles and doubles! This club is a great way to have some fun, win some bragging rights, and make new friends. So grab your paddle and rally over to the GMA Ping Pong Club as we spin into action!

WEDNESDAYS
LEGO Masters: Grades PreK-2
Come join other LEGO enthusiasts to create, explore, and imagine a world of Lego fun! Each session will feature different themes, builds, challenges, and games. Come see why kids keep coming back each trimester to Mr. Kelly's Lego Club!

Homework Club: Grades 2-7
Homework Club offers a positive, productive and social environment where students can work alongside their peers to complete their homework and study, fostering a sense of community and teamwork. Students will engage in brain breaks and active games before receiving targeted support and diving into their work. The club will focus on: Assistance with daily homework assignments Reinforcing math facts, spelling words and reading comprehension skills Developing effective study habits Building independence

Chess Wizards: Grades 1-5

Ready to make new friends and
amaze your parents?
Join Chess Wizards this year for challenging chess lessons,
exciting tournaments, fun, team activities, and more! If you’re
brand-new to chess, we’ll teach you the basics and get you
playing right away. If you’re a seasoned checkmate artist, we’ll
show you new ways to let your creativity show on the chess
board.

Instructional Basketball: Grades 2-4
Led by Experienced Coaches from Gwynedd-Mercy Academy
Join us for an exciting basketball program designed for boys and girls in Grades 2-4! Our instructional sessions are led by current and former Gwynedd-Mercy Academy basketball coaches who are passionate about teaching the game, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a fun, skill-based experience for all players.
Program Highlights:
Focus on fundamental skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense
Emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship
Fun, engaging drills and game play
Positive, encouraging environment for all skill levels
Who Can Join? Boys and girls in Grades 2-4 who want to learn and improve their basketball skills in a structured yet enjoyable setting.

Instructional Field Hockey: Grades 3-5
The Field Hockey Skills & Drills Club is all about looking to develop and improve your field hockey skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this club will help you sharpen your fundamental techniques while learning the rules of the game.
Equipment Needed: Field Hockey Stick, mouth guard, shin guards, cleats or sneakers. Girls may wear their PE uniforms on club days (unless there is a special event at school that requires the uniform to be worn).

Escape Club: Grades 5-8
Solve puzzles, locate clues and work as a team to connect the dots and escape before time runs out!
