Report Cards
Hello SKTA Families
This past year GSACRD has moved to an 'ongoing' reporting model for elementary students, whereby families have been able to check student's academic progress throughout the year via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. GSACRD will be providing ALL students with one final year end report card that will be accessible for download on June 27. An email will be shared with all families once report cards are accessible on the portal and parents/guardians can follow the instructions in the link below for assistance.
Follow these steps or review the instructions below:
1. You will need to log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click HERE to connect to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Bookmark/favourite this link so you can easily use the Parent Portal in the future.
2. Once you have logged in, there is a list of Navigation links on the left-hand side of the screen. At the bottom of that list is the Report Card link that you will need to click on.
3. Once you click on the report card link, you will proceed to the next screen.
4. You will then select the report card you wish to view (it is in blue about mid-page). Once you click on it, it will download.
5. Once downloaded, you can open the file and view it. Please ensure you save or print off a copy of the report card for future reference.
Here is a short step-by-step video on accessing the report card: Report Card Video.
To view your child’s report card, you will need to do so using a computer (desktop or notebook) or a Chromebook – a mobile device will not work.
Farewell to our Fabulous 5's!
We bid farewell to our "FABULOUS FIVES" who truly have MADE A DIFFERENCE to all of us at SKTA! They were our leaders in so many ways - we feel so blessed to have had them in our school. We will miss you and we thank you for everything you have contributed to St. Kateri while you have been here! God bless you and we wish you the best next year! All families are welcome to join us for our Year End Liturgy/Farewell on Tuesday, June 25th at 11:00 AM
National Indigenous People's Day
We had a wonderful day celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. We started our day with mass at St. Emile Parish in Legal. Our students then participated in Indigenous games and activities with their grade level partners at Legal School. We were also blessed to have hamburgers with bannock buns and other treats for lunch! It was such a powerful day full of connections for both of our school communities!
Celebrating our Sacraments
Thank you Father Trini for coming to celebrate and have lunch with our students who received their Sacraments this past school year! We are always blessed to have you spend time with our students and staff.
SKTA Registrations - Come Grow With Us!
Congratulations to our two families who won our 'Returning Registration Contest' for our families. The Culp-McBeth Family as well as the Nelson Family will both have one School Fees Registration covered for the 2024-2025 school year!
We know our students and families love SKTA and we want to spread the word! If you know of families who are considering a great school where all children will be well cared for and loved, educated holistically in mind, body and spirit, please encourage them to reach out to us at SKTA to consider joining our school family! We welcome all and want to share the SKTA experience! Prospective families are always welcome to contact us directly at the school office.

GSACRD Voice - MENTAL HEALTH WEEK!
A Summer Full of Joy!
Before we know it, our children want to spend more of their summer break out with their friends than they do with their parents. But instead of focusing on how little time we have left with them, let’s focus on making the most out of the time we do have together!
Creating fun summer memories can be done by doing activities together that help children stay calm, mindful, happy, engaged, and that exercise their imaginations. We need to remember to hold on to perspective on the days that seem to drag on and slow down and simplify when things start to feel out of our control. Making memories together, no matter how big or small, will always be a great way to spend our summer vacations as a family!
Check out Big Life Journal’s printable for “A Recipe for a Summer of Joy! ” to help you create awesome summer memories with your family.

Student Absences, Appointments and Early Pickup
Please enter ALL your child's absences on safe arrivals. Some examples include vacation, illness, appointments, or needing to leave early. Ensuring your child's attendance is accurately recorded is essential for us to provide the best educational experience.
Please visit our website (Click HERE) for detailed instructions under the MENU.
Ongoing Reporting - Viewing your students marks
We encourage all parents to use PowerSchool as a tool to remain informed about student progress. Questions or concerns about student assessments should be directed to your child's homeroom teacher. Interviews to discuss student progress will continue to be a valuable opportunity for collaboration between home and school. In addition to this, reciprocal emails and phone calls will also be essential to maintaining a solid relationship that is focused on student success.
Please watch video on our website (Click HERE) for a step by step on how to access.
