Middle Level Minute
Indiana Middle Level Education Association, April, 2025
SPECIAL EDITION: UPCOMING EVENTS & DEADLINES
IMLEA is sponsoring a visit to Klondike Middle School in West Lafayette on Thursday, May 15, beginning at 10 am EDT. Klondike is in a brand new building (they even moved in during the school year), and is so spacious that they current include 4th and 5th grade as well as 6-8. The visit will be free for IMLEA members, $10 for nonmembers, which will be invoiced after the event. Please RSVP using this form. This will be a great opportunity to network with other middle-level educators, tour a new building, and find out about their practices. More details will be provided in our next newsletter.
KINLCon at Noblesvile West Middle School
You can still register to attend the Middle Grades Forum Conference in Arlington, VA on June 26-28. In addition to outstanding keynotes, there will be breakout sessions from award-winning middle schools and the opportunity to visit with your representatives or their aides on Capitol Hill. You do not have to be a School to Watch to attend. Find more information here. Many schools like to send a group to learn from the conference as well as sightsee before or after.
BRING YOUR DISTRICT LEADER TO AMLE25 FOR FREE
Any principal or assistant principal registered for AMLE25 can invite their superintendent, assistant superintendent, or a senior-level district administrator with significant oversight of middle level education to attend AMLE25 in Indianapolis—for free!
