Search "Akers Parent Teacher Club" to find us on Facebook and Instagram and get important school updates and volunteer opportunities.

Akers School will be sponsoring a candy bar fundraiser. Funds from these proceeds help fund field trips, bus transportation, dances, socials, sport entry fees, etc. Students who sell at least one box will be put in a drawing for a $40 Target gift card. The TOP SELLER will win a $60 Target gift card. Be on the looking out permission slips coming home for those that would like to participate!

It is recommended to arrive 15-20 minutes before your race time to register! Permission slips will be sent home with Students 3/10. Each child and adult must have a signed permission slip turned in at the event to participate. If you need additional permission slips they will be available in the office the week of the Color Run and at the registration table.

*We need volunteers for this event! Please reach out to Mrs.Corbiere at scorbier@central.k12.ca.us or on ParentSquare to be put on the Volunteer list.

Coming to school each day will help set our students up for success! Here are some common questions we have answered regarding attendance.

*Riding Bikes or scooters while on campus is prohibited. Please walk them to the campus exit.

*Please let Mrs. Diaz know if you are moving 559-998-5707 Option 1

*If you will be checking out your student during the school day, make sure you bring your Drivers License to the office at checkout.

*NO PETS ON CAMPUS

*Do not park in fire lanes or on the sidewalk at school pickup/dropoff.

* If your student will miss 3 or more consecutive days of school please call this office to inquire about an Independent Study option to help with Attendance! Typically we request a 7 school day notice to get Independent Study work ready.
