On Wednesday, August 28th, we will be on a modified schedule to take the FastBridge screeners. All students need to make sure they have their charged device and if you have a preferred corded earbud headset, please bring them. Check out the schedule here!

The drop off and pick up lines are getting so much better! Thank you to everyone's help in getting all students where they need to be safely.

Some reminders...

• You may not turn left from the right hand lane into the parking lot. This is illegal and extremely unsafe!
• There are NO pick ups or drop offs on Main St.
• The parking lot is not a drop off or pick up lane. The parking lot is for parking only!

It is the expectation that all Citrus Hills students place their phones 'Off and Away ALL Day' once they arrive on campus. They must remain off for the duration of the day. They may power up after leaving campus.

The 'why' behind this policy is simple- we want students to focus on learning while they are at school. Cell phones have time and time again shown to distract students when they receive a notification, increase bullying and social pressures, and have an overall negative impact on the learning environment and social emotional well-being. Here is a great article that sums up some studies about the impact phones have on student learning and behaviors.

After school while waiting for a ride, the library is a good quiet place to work on homework or get some reading in. NOTE: This is NOT tutoring. Some teachers will offer tutoring after school on specific days in their classroom.

Student's must adhere to the Citrus Hills Library behavior & expectations to participate.

After School Library hours:

M, T, Th, F - 2:23pm - 3:23pm

W - 1:23pm - 2:23pm

Students not picked up on time will be sent outside to continue waiting.

*On occasion the library is closed after school. We will do our best to communicate when this occurs, so that other plans can be made.
