Dear Bear Creek Families,

It was exciting to see the results for STAAR Reading Interim. The data confirmed that we are building stamina for students with longer passages. Between now and the end of the year, teachers and case managers will continue adjust instruction to provide targeted instruction in areas identified for growth. Our next are of focus is in written expression. While we are proud of the outcomes, we know that we can continue to grow this important life-long skill.

Just a reminder that Valentine's Day is not a designated party day. Classroom teachers have been communicating with families about grade level card exchanges. Days like these are a wonderful way for classmates to connect with each other and their teachers.

Are you curious about STAAR Online for 3rd - 5th graders or TELPAS Online for 2nd - 5th graders. You may use this link to preview and practice this testing format. Our Cubs are academically strong and your child's teacher is preparing them well academically for all of the endeavors.

CAC Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Monday, March 3rd at 3:30 pm in the Library. All are welcome to attend. We enjoyed seeing so many new faces and having a need to grab a few additional chairs. Thank you to Kristina Stockfisch for the snacks.
