As the weather warms, we are seeing a variety of shoe types being worn by students. Please be mindful to have students wear athletic shoes on their PE days to ensure their safety and ability to participate in the activities.

Westgate did an AMAZING job raising money for the D25 PTA Scholarship Fund! Our goal was to raise $630 and Westgate far exceeded this amount by raising a whopping $1,310.48!!!

Westgate Rides is back! Celebrate National Bike & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, May 7 by riding or rolling to school! Wear your Westgate spirit wear to celebrate and prepare to get rolling all through the month of May! Can't get to school on wheels? Want to participate from home? No problem! Bike Bingo cards will be distributed to all students who want to keep riding during the entire month of May. Turn your card into your teacher or the front office by May 30th to be entered into a raffle for prizes donated by local bike businesses.

Please join us for a Barre 3 donation class for the Westgate PTA! Sign up for a spot in class via the sign up genius below, send a donation via zelle, and connect with other Westgate community members at the studio.

Barre 3 combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness for a balanced and challenging work out, no experience required! Class is 45 minutes and grippy socks are recommended in the studio. Suggested donation is $20. Donations can be sent via Zelle to westgateptatreasurer@gmail.com, just add Barre 3 to the description. Help Westgate Earn $2,500!

Become an annual member of the ABC/25 Foundation for $40 during registration and help Westgate secure the $2,500 Membership Incentive Grant! This grant is awarded when 25% of the school’s families become members of the ABC/25 Foundation. In previous years, we have utilized this grant to purchase a reading area complete with a couch and table, 3D printers, and a large poster printer!

Your membership, along with any additional donations, helps fund another grant program specifically geared towards AHSD25 teachers, providing exciting new resources for the classroom! Our previous teacher grants have included phonics games, upgraded sound equipment, math games, fine motor tools, and so much more!

Your membership covers all District 25 schools that your students attend, plus you’ll receive free access to the ABC/25 STEAM events!
