Irving's School Improvement Goals
Goal #1 - We will have a 5% decrease in students who are chronically absent. (Students are chronically absent when they have missed 10% or more of the school year.)
We ended October at 93.50%, so our goal for November will be 94% daily attendance. Getting your student to school every day can help us meet our goal!!
Goal #2 - We will increase our literacy and math ISASP test scores by 5% in grades 3rd-5th AND 80% students in grades K-2 will make typical or aggressive growth on our FAST literacy test.
Last year, 55% of grades 3-5 students were proficient on literacy ISASP and 63% proficient on math ISASP.
Students in Ms. McKee's class made pumpkin pie by reading the recipe, measuring ingredients, and mixing it all together. Yum!
