π April Shout-Outs
Mrs. Hyatt's Science Teacher with 8th Graders
Science class must be amazing in middle school because 8th graders are focused and collaborating on a close reading activity. This small group is practicing for their CFA (Common Formative Assessment). This written assessment lets the teacher know if scholars are able to read a text on grade level and determine the main idea and provide supporting details.
Ms. Bullock Reading Interventionist with 7th Graders
Reading Interventionist Ms. Bullock is working with scholars with LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention) in small groups to increase academic performance. Ms. Bullock is a great asset as a leader and collaboratives to support staff throughout the building.
Ms. Wheeler 3rd Grade Teacher working with 3rd Graders
Ms. Wheeler is working with her 3rd grade students in small group as usual. Ms. Wheeler's classroom is used as a model classroom for small groups due to her excellent CFA proficiency scores, high engagement and organization.
