• Audience: Pre-requisite: Must have attended the September 6 Ooey Gooey Adventures on Environment and Play. This learning is open to preschool program leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related services.

These virtual sessions are intended to support programs through their adventures in applying Lisa Murphy's "7 Things" (Create, Move, Sing, Discuss, Observe, Read, and Play) to classrooms. Program leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related services staff are invited. Individuals will reflect on their current classroom practices and make changes based on connections to Lisa Murphy on Play, the Science of Reading, Early Child Development Standards, and Developmentally Appropriate Practices to ensure all students' needs are met at all levels of instruction through play. Participants are required to read the text as outlined in the syllabus before each virtual session where group discussion will be facilitated.

• Participants will gain knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices to be able to reflect on their preschool environment as evidenced in the final evaluation survey.
  
• As a result of the reading and discussion, participants will be able to create an action step from their reflection on their own learning environment and practices and share out on it in future sessions.
