Weeeeeeee Are The Champions... We Are The Champions

If you didn't sing the title of this article I think you should start over. If you sang it, you are my people!

Major CONGRATULATIONS to Girls 5th and 6th grade soccer, Team Verticchio on their 1st Place finish in the SAY City tournament this past weekend. Magnificent job to the following Mighty Mustangs: Piper Anderson, Eliza Baker, Mary Bokelman, Juliet Corbus, Abigail Freeman, Etta Galliano, Charlotte Hamilton, Naomi Hodesh, Kate Rutherford, Maya Szabo, Sadie Tregre, Greta Verkamp and Evy Verticchio.

Another Round of Applause goes to our 5th and 6th Grade Boys soccer teams who battled each other in the final. Yup! You read that right, the Mighty Mustangs brought home 1st and 2nd place in the Say City Tournament. 1st Place finishers, Team Masters are: Lucas Arvin, Sammy Hauser, Liam Holland, Quinn Lozier, Quinn Maguire, Dean Masters, Cole Nieter, Carter Plummer, Brady Revercomb, Jasper Vanderelst, Ty Veronica, Reed Wasik, Davis Wildner and Meyer Wright. 2nd Place finishers, Team Brauch are: Lucas Brauch, Kaleb Carlson, Tyrone Cox, Kevin Crotty, Drew Fiedler, Will Fiedler, Runo Gustavsson, Monroe Helvie, Graham Hoverman, Miguel Hyslop, Ellis Klump-Lawson, Pierce Landrum, Gage Ruebel and Oliver Santer.

Be sure to recognize a champion when you see them! All 3 teams are now qualified for the State Say Soccer Tournament starting on November 11th. Watch this space for details on how you can support our Kilgour Mustangs as they represent us at the state tourney.

NO SCHOOL NEXT TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH FOR ELECTION DAY!!!

With school closed for election day all before and afterschool activities are also cancelled. There are some very important issues on the ballot that will impact our children's futures. Please take a moment to exercise your right.

Champions Families

Champions full day programs: Tuesday Nov. 7th: Kilgour closed: Champions running full day 7am-6pm ($39 per child), sign-up sheet is on the parent sign in and out table. Champions must have a minimum of 25 students who sign up and are going to attend to run the full day program. All students must bring a packed lunch, Champions will have a breakfast and afternoon snack available. So much fun to be had on these full days. Do not delay and sign your child up!

Fall Picture Retake Day is Next Wednesday, November 8th

KILGOUR SILENT AUCTION THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!

The Kilgour Silent Auction is this Friday, Nov. 3, at Knox Joseph Distillery at The OTR Stillhouse from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are $55 each. Purchase your tickets here or a limited number will be available at the door the night of the event.

Kilgour would like to extend a tremendous THANK YOU to everyone that help make the Fall Harvest activities a smashing success. A great time was had by all the entire day. Our students started the day with a preview of the Willy Wonka Kids performance and ended with a costume parade, class parties and Harvest Jam fun! It took the community to make all of the events happen. Shout out to our PTA and Room Parents for their planning and execution!

Carnival Kick-Off Meeting, Next Weds. at Mad Tree Nov. 8th @ 7pm

Artsonia Online Digital Art Portfolio

All Kilgour students have an online digital portfolio via Artsonia. Permission slips/info was sent home the first week of school. Reminders were sent by our Art teacher, Ms. McMullen via TalkingPoints. NOW we need parents to help us get to 100% and check that they have identified their student on Artsonia.
