Happy New Year! I want to remind you that the end of the semester is quickly approaching on January 23rd. There’s still time to finish strong, so encourage your student to keep up the hard work and stay focused.

Happy New Year!

As we start a new calendar year, it’s hard to believe that we are almost halfway through the school year! As we start back up after a two-week break, it’s important to know that the semester ends at the end of January.

Now is a great time to look at your student’s grades and have conversations about expectations, struggles, and celebrations. SMART goal setting is a great way to plan out the rest of this year. No matter what grade your child is in, having good study habits and work completion is important as they navigate middle school to prepare for high school.

For 7th graders, their current Washington State History class is a high school requirement for graduation. To avoid them having to retake the class in high school, check on your 7th grader’s grades and see if they are on track to pass this semester.
