Silent Auction Kickoff Tonight! Friday March 21, Live on our Facebook Pages!
Mingle Julep Mingle wins the Trophy for best School Auction yet! Our 2025 Fr. Doyle School Mint Julep Mingle Kentucky Derby Themed Auction last Saturday was a great success, with many who attended saying it was the best auction so far! Most importantly, we reached our goal of $30,000, and will be able to purchase the desks and chairs for Mrs. Warner's 1st Grade and Señora's Spanish/ELA classrooms!
Many thanks to all who attended the dinner, purchased or donated auction items, sponsored program ads, and/or made monetary donations for the desks and chairs; to the Ss. John and Paul ChurchHill Downs Band (and especially to local vocalist Emily Bawn, who filled in literally at the last minute for ailing band member Mrs. Burns); to the always entertaining auctioneer extraordinaire Jack Martone, Mr. Godin, Mr. Peloquin, Dan Paquette (who helped livestream the kickoff), Alana and Kira Mattias who sang at the Kickoff, and our wonderful auction committee members Kathy Boiardi, Lori Bloom, and auction co-chairs Ashley Sosa and Jen Marra, for all their hard work in making this a tremendous success! Save the date for our FJVD 2026 Auction: Saturday March 21, 2026!

Ss. John and Paul Annual Egg Hunt this Easter Sunday!
Ss. John and Paul Annual Egg Hunt this Easter Sunday! Our parish will have its annual giant Easter egg hunt in the front lawn of the Church, immediately following the 9:30 Mass Easter Sunday morning. Come and bring your children ages toddler to 12 years along with their Easter baskets for a fun quick hunt on the front lawn of SSJP. There will be 3 age groupings – toddler to 4 years – 5 to 8 - and 9 up to 12 years with a prize for a winner in each age group. This year, we not only have candy in the eggs, but we also have a lot of eggs for ages 5 and up that contain toys! Parents, please note every effort has been made to exclude any nut or nut contaminated products, but please inspect all candies if you have an allergic child.
