This is our main fundraiser. Our goal as a school is to raise $25,000 for new school mascot, classroom grants, field trips and enrichment programs. So let’s get ready to work together to reach our goal!
Class Placement for 2024-2025
It is a wonderful process that takes a LOT into consideration. One small change can disrupt the whole flow. I understand as a parent (because I have been there myself) that where our children are placed can be stressful, because we want them to have the best opportunity possible. All of our teachers are great and offer something wonderful to the students. Each experience teaches them something they will carry into the future. We want the best for each of our students, which is why so much time and consideration goes into this process.
Something new this year :
Your child's next year's teacher will appear on their end of year report card. This change was made for several reasons. One of the biggest benefits to doing this is that you and your child will know their placement before the summer starts. This will hopefully ease some worry or stress you may typically experience while waiting for the August rush right before school starts.
Transition to Middle School - 4th Grade
As a way to begin the transition for our 4th graders to middle school, the Principals from the three middle schools go on a "tour" to meet the students and tell them a little of what they can expect. The students typically leave SUPER excited - mostly because of the food options! For Studley, the principals will be visiting this Friday, May 24th.
During the school day on June 4th, our fourth grade students will be visiting their middle schools for a tour of the building. They will leave Studley around 9:00AM and return around 11:00AM.
On the evening of June 4th (Brennan) and June 5th (Coelho and Wamsutta) at 6:00PM the parents/guardians of incoming 5th graders (our current fourth graders) are invited to their middle schools for an Information Night. Be on the lookout for more information from the middle school!
24-25 Transportation
24-25 Transportation Application Open! New this year, all eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure transportation. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. Families should refer to the email sent on May 3, 2024, or visit the APS Transportation website for details: https://www.attleboroschools.com/o/apswc/page/transportation
Bus Expectations
As a reminder, all students who ride the bus are expected to follow appropriate bus expectations. These expectations are put in place for the safety of all students. The bus driver has a very important job of delivering our precious kids to and from home and school. Students must do their part, so the drivers can do their jobs.
Please remind your child of the importance of following these expectations. Riding the bus is a privilege, and there will be consequences if students do not follow them.
Expectations:
- Students need to be seated the whole time with their feet on the floor in front of them
- All belongings should be away in their backbacks.
- Aisles need to be kept clear.
- Students need to use level 1 voices (conversational) when speaking to others.
- Appropriate language is expected.
- Hands and feet are to be kept to themselves.
Family Picnic
PTO will be hosting a family picnic on June 4th 5:00PM-7:00PM. This is the first time they are trying out this event. The vision for this event is that families bring food and have a picnic on the field. More info to come, but we hope you can come hang out and have some family fun.
Studley Fundraiser - New Idea

Walker Door Safety
William James College Interface Referral Service
Any resident of Attleboro or student attending the Attleboro Public Schools (through a guardian) can access the William James College INTERFACE Referral Service. The INTERFACE Helpline helps individuals in subscribing communities become connected with outpatient mental health and wellness resources.
Through the Helpline that operates from 9 AM- 5 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 8 AM- 6 PM on Tuesday and Thursday, callers will complete an intake which takes about 15-20 minutes and then within a day or so of their call will be assigned to work with a Resource and Referral Counselor who will help them navigate the challenges of finding mental health services, including obtaining a referral match to an outpatient provider, as well as information and resources related to mental health and wellness. Please see What to Expect When You Call the Helpline or visit interface.williamjames.edu for more information.
The INTERFACE Helpline is not an emergency service. If you or the person you are seeking to assist requires a crisis response to meet immediate safety needs, please call 988, 911, go to your local emergency room, or find your local crisis services by calling 833-773-2445 and asking for crisis support.
Car Drop Off/Outdoor Play
As you know, our school day starts at 8:30AM. This means there are no staff members on duty to supervise students until 8:30AM. Several students are leaving their cars before 8:30AM to play. If you are allowing your child(ren) to leave your car and play before school, they must be supervised. Students cannot leave that area and go to the side or back of the building where they would be unsupervised. Thank you for your attention to this.
