Dear Bloom Families-

We have a LOT going on this month, so mark your calendars.

One PBIS strategy at Bloom is to regularly give out Blooming Eagles when we witness students demonstrating the Bloom Rules:

1. Be Respectful

2. Be Responsible

3. Be Safe

4. Be Kind

If you have not been on campus recently, I invite you to come see our new Book Vending Machine! Students earn a FREE book when any adult notices their consistent behavior that demonstrates the 4 Bloom rules listed above. They receive a GOLDEN Blooming Eagle from the adult and in turn, they receive a gold token for a free book! Ask your child about it!

We would appreciate your help in modeling these traits away from school, children tend to emulate what their role models do. Thank you

Attendance reminders:

Being in class every day is essential to academic growth. Please understand that attendance is taken twice a day. You will receive a recorded phone call when your child is absent, therefore, we ask that you call Susan at 731-3702 to report an absence. Thank you.

Feb 4: Kinder Kickoff - children who turn 5 years old BEFORE September 1st, qualify to begin Kindergarten in August 2025.

Feb 7: OMA Field Trip for Kindergarten to the Sponge Bob Musical

NEW ✅❗Feb 13: Skate Country Night, sponsored by Student Council

Feb 10-14: Love of Reading Week. You are welcome to read to your child's class just let the teacher know.

NEW ✅Feb 18: BINGO Family Night, 6-7:30 pm. Bring a can of food or $1 for 5 bingo games. There will be free popcorn and water.

Feb 10 - 23: Bloom Store will be open. Link to store will be available on Feb 10. Get your Bloom gear here!

Feb 11: Fire Drill, 1:30pm

Feb 13-14: Parent Teacher Conferences, students dismiss at 10:55am on both days.

Feb 17: Presidents' Day. This is NOT a holiday for TUSD, school is in session.

Feb 19: Heart Challenge Fundraiser Kickoff for students.

Feb 20-21: Rodeo Break, no school for students or employees

Feb 24: Site Council meeting on Zoom. All teachers, parents, and guardians are invited to attend. Please call Mari or Susan for the Zoom link

NEW❗✅Monday, Feb 24, 6pm in cafeteria: Parent meeting to inform them about the AASA assessment in April. We encourage all 3rd -5th grade families to attend - this is critical information for you to understand prior to the state assessment in April.
