The TECEC team extends heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support during Educator Appreciation Week! On Thursday we were treated to wonderful breakfast treats.. The weeklong celebrations concluded on Friday with a wonderful luncheon provided by the PTO, featuring delicious chicken francese, eggplant parmesan, penne alla vodka, salad and a sweet dessert tray of Italian pastries. We were truly touched by these gestures. Everyone at TECEC feels deeply appreciated!
What a night! Despite a little drizzle and cool temperature, our annual TECEC PTO spring party was a fantastic success. The petting zoo, pawprint tattoos, playground, basketball, ice pops, bounce houses, and food truck provided endless entertainment for everyone throughout the evening. Thank you to the PTO for organizing such a wonderful event!
There are only 2 days to go to ABNO! This is TECEC's biggest fundraising event of the year, aimed at updating our playground to enhance accessibility for our diverse community. With raffles, live and silent auctions, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Don't worry...you can still purchase tickets on Friday at the event.

Happy May! We hope everyone enjoyed their Mother’s Day. Thank you for all the wonderful gifts and cards for teacher appreciation. We are so grateful for all of you! Our caterpillars have begun transitioning to their chrysalis’ and we are waiting patiently for butterflies! We are very excited for the TECEC Olympics next week. We are looking forward to a fun event and hope to see all families there to help out and attend.
In May we’re learning about animals around the world, ocean animals and we will start summer safety. We will also talk about fun summer activities like camping, swimming and ice cream!
Get ready for an exciting event coming up soon – our Preschool Olympics! This fun-filled day, inspired by field day festivities, is just around the corner on Thursday, May 23rd. It's all about creating joyful experiences for our children and giving families a chance to cheer on our young Olympians.
Organized by the TECEC Father's Club in collaboration with John Elliff, the Middlebrook physical education teacher, and a group of enthusiastic fifth-grade students, this event promises a day of laughter and friendly competition. If your child will be going to kindergarten next year, please make sure you register as soon as possible so that the elementary schools can contact you about upcoming visitation dates. Every Thursday is spirit wear day! Each week everyone is encouraged to wear school spirit wear. If you don't have any TECEC spirit wear, the PTO set up an online store to purchase items. The link is: https://tecec.ptboard.com/
