Read, Right, and Run Information
Sign-ups for the GO! St. Louis Marathon Read, Right and Run Program are open! For those joining, please make sure to choose the first option, the 1.2 mile run. Mr. Thomson and Mrs. Carter will be hosting optional, bi-weekly Tuesday fun runs before school beginning on October 1st.

Move A Thon Updates
THANK YOU!!! Thank you for all the support so far on our Move A Thon campaign! We have currently raised over 85% of our goal and the donations keep rolling in! With the huge success so far, we will be pushing our goal higher and adding ADDITIONAL school wide incentives! Be on the lookout for those!
Get Movin' Day was a HUGE success! Dr. Albers even showed up with PINK hair thanks to your amazing fundraising efforts! All the students got their bodies Movin' in a way to say thank you to all their family and friends for the donations received already.
REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN! It's free to register and your student gets a Dressel Flyers wristband! Move A Thon is a fun way to raise money for our school while students have the opportunity to have fun moving and playing. The online platform is open and runs until Saturday, October 19th. Join Us Thursday October 10 At 6:30 PM To See Dr. Schoenekase and Dr. Albers Kiss A Pig!
Who doesn't want to see their principals kiss a farm animal?!?! Dressel students are going to get that chance! Thanks to your generous donations, our Move A Thon has already raised over $15,000, so Dr. Schoenekase and Dr. Albers BOTH get to kiss a pig!
Join us Thursday, October 10th at 6:30pm at Dressel to see the smooch take place live! The kiss will also be recorded for those who are unable to attend in person.
Movie Night - October 11
Movie Night has been rescheduled! Join us outside for Despicable Me 4 on October 11. Seating opens at 6:00 PM, and the movie will begin around 6:50 PM. Please bring your own chairs and blankets.
Admission is free! Kona Ice, popcorn, and snacks will be available for purchase.

TRUNK OR TREAT – October 25
Dressel’s Annual Trunk or Treat is Friday, October 25th from 5:45-7:30 PM. To register your trunk or to let us know you plan to attend the trick-or-treat use this link: Dressel Trunk or Treat 2024 Registration Link
We will need volunteers the day of the event for set up/clean up, running candy to cars, parking lot coordination and concessions. All volunteers will be allowed to park in the Dressel Parking Lot! A link will be sent out soon so please keep an eye out for it in your inbox.
Dressel’s candy monster has arrived! Kids can feed Trunk or Treat candy donations to him in the lobby! Flyers were sent home today with a portion to cut out and attach to donated candy to be entered into our gift card raffle (one entry per family). If you don't have a flyer, please attach a note with your oldest child's name and teacher

Teacher Grant Committee Volunteers!
Looking for an easy and fun way to see what is happening at Dressel? We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Teacher Grant Committee! We need TWO representatives from each grade level. The committee will meet at Dressel on November 14th at 6:30pm to review the teacher grant applications and vote on which to accept. The volunteer spots for each grade will be filled on a first come first served basis.

Celebrate 75 Years With Lindbergh! This Week’s Events
Crestwood Elementary Gymnasium Beam Signing, 4-5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8: Help us celebrate the construction of Crestwood’s new gymnasium, and sign a steel beam that will be used in the construction!
Listening and Learning with Superintendent Dr. Tony Lake, 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8: This presentation by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tony Lake will cover the district's updated success measures, five-year strategic plan, and Prop R construction timeline. All are welcome!
Concord Elementary Tour and Open House, 5:45-6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9: Concord students and staff will lead guided tours of Concord Elementary School for current families, Concord alumni, and community members.
LHS Fall Play, “The Mousetrap,” 7 p.m., Oct. 10-12: LHS Players present "The Mousetrap," in the LHS Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.! Purchase tickets online at or at the door.
Sperreng Color Run, 10-12 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 12: Participate in a one mile family color run with treats and music! Registration is required. For more information, click HERE.

Sunday Night Lights - Celebrating 15 Years!
Sunday Night Lights is celebrating 15 years in the Lindbergh Community, and the entire Lindbergh community is invited to help fill the stands and cheer on children who have braved the journey of a serious childhood disease on Sunday, Oct. 13.
