IKE Informed Eagles SY 23-24
Week of May 20 - 24, 2024
Thank You IKE Familes!
Dear IKE Families,
It is hard to believe, but it's the last week of the 2023-2024 school year! I wanted to thank all of you for your support of our school and students. I have loved being with IKE this past year and a half and appreciate all of you! I will miss this school community very much, but am so excited for Rachel Ebert, who will be the new principal at IKE. Mrs. Ebert has been the Impact Coach the past few years and she knows this school and community well. She is an outstanding person and I know IKE will continue to thrive under her leadership. If you are moving, we wish you safe travels and the very best on your new adventure! If you will still be at Fort Leavenworth, know that everyone at IKE is looking forward to the 2024-2025 school. Thank you again for a wonderful ride at Eisenhower Elementary!

Principal

WELLNESS TIPS FROM NURSE ANNA!
Summer Is On It's Way!
It is hard to believe, but summer is almost here! It’s obvious that the kids are out enjoying the sunshine because of the increase in allergy symptoms, bug bites, ticks, rashes, scrapes, bumps and bruises. Please remember to use your safety equipment when skating and biking. A buckled, properly fitted helmet is a life saver. With all of the outdoor fun, sunscreen and sunglasses are also essential for a safe summer. A sunburn in childhood can leave permanent damage that will show up in later years.
If your child has medication in the clinic, please pick it up on your student’s last day of school. All medication left at school will be disposed of. If your child is returning next year, a new physician signed medication permission slip will be required for any medication kept in the clinic.
Have a healthy and safe summer,
