The Bellevue Band of Gold marched in the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade and put on a fantastic performance! 🎺⚾️
Bellevue Middle and High School celebrated Opening Day with a grill out, prizes, and baseball fun!

Character Trait of the Month at Grandview Elementary
Each month, classroom teachers at Grandview Elementary nominate a student for the Trait of the Month. March’s trait was COOPERATION , and these students were nominated for being shining examples of it:

Literacy Night
Last Thursday was No "Lion" We Love to Read Literacy Night at Grandview Elementary!
Families got to enjoy books celebrating our wildlife and interact with animals from the Newport Aquarium, Campbell County Animal Shelter, and Pet Partners of Greater Cincinnati!
Thank you to our vendors and everyone who came out to enjoy a fun night!
Bus to Business Career Expo
Sixteen BHS Seniors attended the Bus to Business Career Expo today hosted by the Kentucky Chamber Foundation.
They were exposed to careers in manufacturing, construction, logistics, IT, business, and healthcare!
Cooking Club
Last week at cooking club, students made chicken fajitas from an easy sheet pan chicken bake!
The cost per serving is less than $2! It’s a quick and easy meal!

The group also played a fun game while waiting for their dinner to cook!
Next week, the class will be making homemade pasta alfredo!
Inches and Yards
In Math Class this week, Ms. Phillips class rotated through centers and learned about estimating and measuring in inches and yards.
Chalk the Walk
The S.M.I.L.E. Club went out to Chalk the Walk and created positive messages to brighten everyone’s day! ☀️
Spelling and Grammar
Ms. Taylor's class was hard at work studying spelling and grammar this week! ✏️
Relief Print Creation
Middle School Art Students created relief prints on papers that have been collaged and patterned with oil pastel, then embellished them with paint pens!
Seventh Grade visits Thomas More
Bellevue Middle School 7th Graders visited Thomas More University today!
TMU is a small college with big opportunities!
Only 12 minutes from Bellevue, TMU is a best alternative to the big college experience!
Attendance Challenge Finalists revealed!
The second week of our March Madness Attendance Challenge has officially concluded, and the results are in! Next week, we move on to the Championship round!
Attendance Percentages:
2nd/3rd - 95.48%
4th/5th - 94.92%
10th/11th - 92.25%
8th/9th - 93.56%
Next week’s Championship matchup: 2nd/3rd Grade vs. 8th/9th Grade!

Bellevue Distinguished Alumni nominations are open!
The Bellevue Independent School district is accepting nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Alumni. This award recognizes graduates who have made a significant contribution to society beyond the realm of athletics and has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to excellence in service to the community, state, or nation. The criteria for Distinguished Alumni are as follows: Graduate of the Class of 2015 or earlier Must have a significant contribution to society Achievement beyond the realm of athletics Lifelong commitment to excellence in service to community, state, or nation Nominee can be living or deceased A committee consisting of a Board of Education Member who is an alum, the BISD Superintendent, the BHS Principal, and three additional alumni will select the winning candidate(s) from the nominations received. Nominations shall include:
Name of the candidate Address of the candidate Home/office/or cell phone number of the candidate Email Address of the candidate A narrative or the basis for the nomination Deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, April 25, 2025 at 3 PM.
