We held a Trojan Assembly this week to recognize students in a variety of ways. Congratulations to our September winners for being recognized by their teachers for showing 'enthusiasm'. Also, many students had their Trojan Ticket pulled and were able to choose a prize. Students are given Trojan Tickets as part of our positive behavior system.

Every assembly begins and ends with the singing of our school song. Ask your student to teach it to you! We're From Mills and Couldn't Be Prouder!

REMINDER!

As we continue to move through the school year, please be reminded that pets are not allowed on school property. Please refrain from bringing pets, especially dogs, on school grounds at the beginning and end of the days. In addition, motorized scooters, motorized skateboards or pedal boards of any kind are not permitted on school property, in accordance with the Elmwood Park Municipal Code. We want everyone to feel safe in and around the school.

Fire Prevention Week- October 6-12

This year's Fire Prevention Week campaign is "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) strives to educate everyone about the importance of having smoke alarms in the home.
