Dear KHS Families,
Fall is quickly approaching and cooler weather will certainly be heading our way. I would encourage everyone to leave for school a few minutes earlier to help ensure that students are on time to their first class.
This week will feature many opportunities for students to be involved in various school activities. Thursday night will feature a Powder Puff game between the Junior and Senior girls. There is a halftime show that will resemble a dance off between the Junior and Senior boys. Our FCCLA program will also sponsor a Chili Cook Off that night as well. Lastly, we will have a bonfire next to Wildcat Stadium. This evening is run by our Student Council as a fundraiser for all the activities that they sponsor.
The Homecoming Dance is sponsored by the Senior Class as a fundraiser that helps to pay the costs of graduation. Tickets can only be purchased at the door and cost $20 per person. The evening starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm. I would encourage everyone to bring comfortable shoes to change into after you take all of your photos.
