UPDATED TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Parents,
We continue to have parents drop off their student(s) in the back parking lots after 6:45am. Prior communication has been sent to our school community explaining arrival and dismissal procedures.
Numerous students bike or walk to school and access our campus via the back parking lots. Parents not following arrival and dismissal procedures add unnecessary traffic and congestion to an area of our school that is not intended for student drop off.
Continuing to disregard campus procedures places students in dangerous situations.
Effective immediately, an administrator and/or security guard will be prohibiting access to these areas after 6:45 a.m. Parents will be redirected and not granted access to the back parking lots. Only staff members and student drivers will be permitted in the back parking lot. Everyone else will be instructed to turn around and drop off their student(s) in the front of the campus.
Your cooperation ensuring student and staff safety are appreciated.

Katy ISD’s Partners in Education invites the community to bring hope to families in need this holiday season. The organization’s biannual Food for Families campaign allows the community to bring joy into the homes of students and their families. Katy ISD campuses identify students for the program while Partners in Education collects community and corporate donations. Grocery gift cards and a note of support from the Katy ISD community are then delivered to each student by a campus staff member.
Contributions in any amount are welcome and appreciated. Those interested in helping these Katy ISD families experience a happier holiday season should donate by December 9. Donations are accepted online, through Katy ISD Pay N’ Go, or via check, remitted to “Katy ISD Food for Families” and mailed to Partners in Education, Katy ISD ESC, 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy, TX 77494.
