Yikes! This week you are getting the "Saturday" Family Newsletter.
This is the first time I have not found time to get the Friday newsletter done on Friday!

Principal: Kristen Reed
Please visit our website!
We will be doing a TEST emergency alert on Monday at 2:00!
We are aware of the Alma emergency alert notification difficulties, and Mr. Britton has had many discussions with the company.
We have been assured that things have been fixed, so we want to test the system.
Please be aware that we will be doing an emergency alert test on Monday at 2:00.
Remember - Please remember to listen to or read the emergency alert. Please do not call the school. In the case of a real emergency, we do not want to jam up the phone system.
GVS Employment Opportunities
Thank you to the Grantham Garden Club!
Please remember to pay your preschool and before school fees...
All items ordered through the Kid’s Café will be charged to your child’s PaySchools account.
The Grantham meal program operates like a debit account. Parents deposit money into their
child’s account either by writing a check or by using Payschools.com (instructions on GVS
Website; please contact frontoffice@gvshawks.org if you need your child’s School ID). Meals
and milk are deducted from the account when your child checks out at the counter.
- Please make checks payable to Grantham Village School. Checks are preferred
over cash. If you are sending in one check to pay for two or more children, please
indicate how you would like the money divided.
Any questions or concerns can be discussed by calling Grantham Village School
(863-1681 ext. 1090) or sending me an email (dbailey@gvshawks.org).
Applications for free and reduced lunch are available throughout the year. You can request
one by calling the school at 603-863-1681.

Grantham Parent Teacher Group
You’re Invited!
Join us at the GPTG Open House THIS Monday, May 20th, from 6 pm - 8 pm at 88 Splitrock Road. This will be a fun evening to connect with parents and teachers, share experiences, and build new friendships.
Thank you for all of your support for Teacher Appreciation Week!
Last week, we re-stocked the teacher lounge with coffee and snacks, provided lunch, gifted new pajama bottoms and a school-wide pajama day, gifted a new recess bell and clock, and had students share their favorite things about GVS. When you visit the school, you can read all of the wonderful things students had to say about our teachers and staff on the walls in the hallway.
We couldn’t do it without you.
