New Building Project Update

SQU Community Meeting
We just wanted to share the information from the recent community meeting hosted by Mayor Koch and Quincy City Councilor Bill Harris earlier this week. City officials, architects, engineers and the project manager all presented updated details on the new building project.
The presentation included information on the underground work, parking, bus drop off as well as updates to the new school design. The full presentation can be viewed by clicking here.
Please know this website will be updated throughout the project and we will continue to update any changes or new information related to the timeline or impact to the school community.

New Bus Drop Off/Pick Up ~ Standish Road
Special education bus pick up and drop off locations will not change at this time or for any other related work the remainder of this school year.
You will notice new signs put up along Standish Road for the busses. Please be aware of these new spots and do not park along Standish Road. Pictures are located below for your reference. Thank you in advance for your help with this!
Temporary Staff Parking
We have set up temporary parking for staff behind the school. The upper parking lot near the playground will be fenced off and not accessible. We have created new lined parking spaces near the original part of the building for all staff members to park in.
This area is for staff only. Please do not drive in or park in this area during school hours. Thank you in advance for your attention to this request and patience during this phase of the project.
Squantum Playground
The Squantum playground will remain open during this part of construction. However, access will be limited to the entrance on Standish Road only. The gate located in the parking lot will be closed.
Please note that if you have a brick located on the path entrance of the playground, these will be removed and safely stored until they can be relocated to the new school.
