Farm Fresh Direct Supports Juntos 4-H Discovery Day Trip with $5,000 Donation

With heartfelt gratitude, we share the success of our recent Juntos 4-H trip, made possible by the generous $5,000 donation from Farm Fresh Direct, led by Mayra McKibbon, Director of Workforce and Community Programs. The trip, held from August 23rd to August 24th, 2024, was a transformative experience for our 25 participants, including both youth and their parents.

Community Horno Enhances Grounds of the Sangre de Cristo Heritage Center in San Luis

The Sangre de Cristo Heritage Center & Museum boasts a new addition to its grounds, an adobe Horno. Built by Adobist Ole Bye, the traditional baking horno is a nod to the partnerships that thrive in the community of San Luis. Soul Players of the Valley San Luis (SPV San Luis) in collaboration with CSU Extension Juntos Program, Costilla County Conservancy District (CCCD), and the Town of San Luis worked together to facilitate this project.
