WMS parents and guardians,
It's hard to believe that we are already getting close to the end of 1st quarter! We have a busy month ahead of us, with the end of the month parent conferences and a fall break ahead!
Our first quarter will be coming to an end on October 18. This will be an early release day, with school dismissing at 12:20 p.m.. Our parent/teacher conferences will be held in person or virtually on Tuesday, October 29 from 3:30-7 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 30 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Teachers will be reaching out to parents to schedule a time for a conference. We look forward to meeting with you to update you on your child's progress this year.
Our Back to School Fundraiser was a huge success! We were able to raise around $15,000 to help fund various clubs, activities, sports and overall building needs. The funds are being dispersed amongst these groups, and we also have plans to purchase some items for the building, including window decals for our cafeteria. None of this would have been possible without your support! Thank you!
Our PTA is sponsoring a family night with the Harlem Wizards on October 24 at Holt High School. The Harlem Wizards will play against WMS and Heritage staff members in a Harlem Globetrotters type of game! Bring the whole family for some laughs and a lot of fun. Want to learn more? Check out this video and purchase tickets here!
As always, if you have any concerns in regards to your child, please contact your child's counselor or the WMS admin team. We're here to support you and your child!
