This newsletter is packed full of information! On Tuesday we celebrated a combination of Mardi Gras and Valentine's in preparation for Ash Wednesday Mass. We also hosted the State of the School on Tuesday evening. Members of the Advisory Board and Finance Committee spoke regarding our projected budget and tuition increase. On the development side, we learned how important Annual Giving is to our budget, got an update from the Blazers & Baubles - Vikings in Vegas committee, and the Centennial Committee.

We appreciate everyone that was able to attend and have tried to convey presented information here.

Our Finance Committee, Advisory Board, and Administration to the community the project 5% increase to tuition for the 24-25 school year. Please read the attached letter below for details.

Applications for archdiocesan financial aid for 2024-2025 year are now open via myTads.com.

Applications should be submitted by. April 15, 2024. To be considered for financial aid, one must live in one of the following counties: San Francisco, San Mateo or Marin.

Optional Parent/Teacher/Student conferences will be available to school parents. Please go to SchoolSpeak and visit the Spring Conference Group. 3rd through 8th grade after school activities available for registration beginning Friday.

Our newest member to the SVDP staff is Ms. Jackie Singer. She is a graduate student and enrolled in the Teacher Education Program at USF. She will be supporting our first grade class. Say "hello" and introduce yourself next time you see her around campus!

We had a contractor walk through on Tuesday and soil testing on Thursday.

As for fundraising, we are reaching out to families to schedule meetings. We will be taking a little break to focus on the success of Blazers & Baubles - Vikings in Vegas!

As discussed at the State of the School, the Annual Giving campaign is essential to our budget. Currently, we are underperforming in both participation and dollars. Check out your class participation rate and donate today. Thank you!
