MVVS News and Notes

We are well on our way to our goal. This week our students surpassed 23,000 minutes!! We are so proud!

A big thank you to our MVVS PTA for all of their work with the candy apples prep and sales at Lamson Farm Day. We saw many families and students there. As usual, a great time had by all!

Our K-2 students will visit the Mont Vernon Fire Station on our annual walking field trip on Friday, October 18th. The schedule is as follows:

• 1st grade 8:00
• 2nd Grade 8:45
• Kindergarten 9:30

Winter Registration is open in PowerSchool for AMS athletics. Please log into PowerSchool to complete registration. Start Dates and grades eligible are as follows:

• Co-Ed Wrestling- AMS and MVVS Grades 5-8-Start Date 12/11
• Co-Ed Spirit- AMS and MVVS Grades 5-8-Start Date 11/4
• Co-Ed Club Volleyball AMS and MVVS Grades 5-8-Start Date 2/10

LUNCH with your 6th Grader will be held on October 22nd. Tuscany Bread, baby carrots & assorted fruit will be on the menu that day.
