New Middle School Groundbreaking Ceremony Next Week!
More exciting news in Argyle ISD! The second groundbreaking ceremony this month will happen on June 20 in Argyle!
Argyle ISD will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new middle school on FM 407 on Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m. The community is invited to attend. Please note, there is NO access to the groundbreaking site off of FM 407 at this time. Guests must enter off Sam Davis Rd. The site is just east of I-35W.
The middle school, which is scheduled to open in August 2026, will serve grades 7th-8th with a capacity of 1,200 students. The current middle school on Hwy 377 will transition to the district's second high school in 2027-2028 school year.

This will be a historic event. It will mark the first campus in the town of Argyle since the opening of Hilltop Elementary in 2005. The middle school was part of the voter-approved 2022 bond package.
Earlier this month, AISD held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Argyle ISD Stadium and Indoor Activity Center at AHS in Flower Mound. Both facilities are scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.

π Ground-Breaking News! Stadium & IAC Coming in Fall 2025!
The rain finally gave us a break last week! It was just enough time to celebrate a historic event in Argyle ISD. The district held the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Argyle ISD Stadium and Indoor Activity Center at Argyle High School in Flower Mound.

The two projects will soon get underway and both are scheduled to open in the fall of 2025. The stadium will be the home for both high schools in AISD. It will seat 7,500 fans and will include a video scoreboard and two-story press box.
The Indoor Activity Center will include a 60-yard field and locker rooms. It will be utilized by athletic teams and the AHS band.
Both projects were separate voter-approved propositions on the 2022 bond. To read about the projects, CLICK HERE.
π§’ Argyle Takeover! Eagle Nation Flocks to Globe Life Field
What a great night of community...in Arlington! The Argyle Eagle nation was in full force on Argyle ISD Night at the Rangers game vs. Detroit on Monday, June 3. Each year, the Rangers partner with Argyle ISD to host a night dedicated to the school district and its families.
Argyle ISD was SOLD OUT of its allotted tickets for the branded hats and we are thankful to the Rangers for this ongoing event for the past four years! Thank you to our AISD families for making this new tradition a great night seeing many new and familiar faces at the ballpark.

#TogetherWeSoar: Summer Leadership Academy Inspires Campus Leaders!
Before heading into summer, Argyle ISD campus leaders attended the Summer Leadership Academy earlier this week at the Denton County Southwest Courthouse. It was an incredible day of inspiration and collaboration as our campus principals and assistant principals prepare for the 2024-2025 school year.
It was a very productive day of learning for our administrators. They determined their ONE Thing to improve student growth and achievement and heard from the district's Moak Casey team on best practices for leadership and special education.
Argyle ISD School Board Regular Meeting Monday
The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Monday, June 17 at the Argyle ISD Dr. Telena L. Wright Administration Building. The open meeting begins at 5 p.m.
The meeting will be live-streamed on the AISD YouTube Channel. The Argyle ISD Communications Department also provides live updates from meetings on X (formerly Twitter).
π Argyle ISD Summer Hours
If you need assistance this summer, we have provided helpful information below regarding Argyle ISDβs summer hours of operation.
The Argyle ISD Dr. Telena L. Wright Administration Building is open to the public during the summer from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. The admin building and campuses will be closed on Fridays from May 31 to July 26.
Hilltop Elementary, South Elementary, West Elementary, the Sixth Grade Center and Argyle Middle School are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday through June 6. The elementary campuses, SGC and AMS will reopen on July 24. The campuses will have limited staff available for assistance.
Argyle High School will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through June 17 and will reopen on July 17.

The 2nd Annual Eagle Bash Back to School Community Event is set for Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at AHS!

π Argyle High School Senior Earns Prestigious Award
Big congratulations to Argyle High School senior Amelia Rose Schmied! She has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest honor in Girl Scouting. She was celebrated for her accomplishments during a special ceremony earlier this month.
Gold Star Award winners are leaders that make an impact in their communities and neighborhoods.

π Eagle Football 7-on-7 Team Headed to State!
The Argyle Eagles 7-on-7 football team has qualified for the Texas 7on-7 State Tournament in College Station. The event will be held June 27-29.
The Eagles recently went 3-1 in the Marcus state qualifier tournament and defeated Granbury, Flower Mound and Birdville, and had a one-point loss to Berkner. Argyle also shined at the Eric Morris 7 vs 7 Camp going 6-1 and reached the championship game.
βΎ Eagle Shortstop Shines During Summer Ball!
Argyle Eagle shortstop Grady Emerson helped lead the Eagles to the Class 5A Region I finals this season. He is now starring for the Canes National 16U team this summer! Grady, who is committed to TCU, is ranked as the No. 2 player in the nation in the 2026 class by Prep Baseball. He just finished his sophomore year at AHS.
π₯ Former Lady Eagle Now National Champ!
Congratulations to former Argyle Lady Eagle softball standout Maya Bland. The freshman outfielder for the Oklahoma Sooners is a National Champion! The Sooners won their fourth consecutive national title last week in Oklahoma City.
Maya played in 52 games this season and scored 24 runs. She had 15 at-bats and hit .333 with eight stolen bases. She played in the national championship as a pinch runner.
