Admin Update
Dear Eagle Fami-LEEs,
I hope this message finds you well and soaring high! We have some exciting events and updates to share with you this week.
SOUPer Bowl Soup Drive Our annual SOUPer Bowl Soup Drive is in full swing! For every can of soup donated, your House will earn 5 points. All collected cans will be donated to Loudoun Hunger Relief, helping those in need within our community. Let's show our Eagle spirit and make a difference together!
Hooray for the 100th Day of School! Mark your calendars for February 25th as we celebrate the 100th day of school, barring any snow days. It's a milestone worth celebrating, and we have some fun activities planned for our students. Let's make it a day to remember!
Club and Candid Photos On February 26th, we will be taking club and candid photos. This is a great opportunity for our students to capture memories with their friends and showcase their involvement in various school activities. Make sure to bring your best smiles!
Continue Soaring with 4 As always, we encourage our Eagles to continue soaring by being respectful, responsible, safe, and kind. These values are the foundation of our school community, and we are proud of our students for embodying them every day.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Let's keep soaring to new heights together!
100th Day of School

Clinic Update
The clinic is seeking donations of gently used pants (jeans, leggings, etc) for boys’ and girls’ sizes 10-16. These sizes are in particularly high demand as we receive donations from smaller sizes more often when our kiddos outgrow them.
We also greatly appreciate donations of new undergarments in all sizes.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
Lost and Found
See a sweatshirt or water bottle that belongs to you, stop by the Lost and Found table in front of the office.
ECSE Registration
Leesburg Elementary is now accepting applications for our Preschool Reverse Inclusion class for the 2025-2026 school year. The program is five days a week, Monday through Friday 8:00am-2:00pm. Our program will educate both children with disabilities, whom we currently serve, and typically developing children from the Leesburg attendance area. We are currently searching for typically developing students who will be four years old by September 30, 2025 to join our program. Please complete the application and turn it in to the front office by March 28, 2025.
Kindergarten and New Student Registration
The 2025-2026 school year pre-registration portal, for Kindergarten and all new students, is now open! Registration appointments will be scheduled by the school to start on February 3, 2025. Please make sure to select the correct school year during your pre-registration application.
A child may enter kindergarten if they turn five on or before September 30 of the year they enter school. The age requirement is set by Virginia law and LCPS is unable to make any exceptions.
Once you complete the pre-registration and have the required documentation (in some cases, with the exception of medical), the school registrar will contact you to set up your registration appointment.
Pre-registration is an opportunity for families to do their paperwork in advance of registration appointments with your student’s school. Registration appointments will be taken at the school that serves your address.
For more information, visit the Online Pre-registration page.
Pre-registration is only for:
Students, grades kindergarten-12, who are new to LCPS
Current LCPS Pre-kindergarten students entering kindergarten
Students who were formerly enrolled and may be returning to LCPS
Students who are currently enrolled do not need to re-register.

WATCH D.O.G. Request
Calling all WATCH D.O.G.S! Mr. Lesher is looking for more volunteers to help serve our school! It makes a huge difference for both students and staff. As we look to expand our program we are encouraging WATCH D.O.G.S to sign up for a day that they can commit to serving all day or half a day at school. We will have one WATCH D.O.G serving on school each day. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact for our LES students and staff.
